April Bauknight is an accomplished attorney with over fifteen years of experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.  Ms. Bauknight is a former Assistant County Counsel and OPRA expert. She earned a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law (Newark) and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University. April is conversant on land use matters and government right to know laws, and has also served as a Municipal Prosecutor in Essex and Union Counties.

Monika is a skilled litigator and construction contract expert and Federal Court litigator. She has been practicing law for more than 17 years at both large and mid-sized firms in New Jersey and New York and served as a judicial law clerk in the Albany New York County Supreme Court. Monika earned her BA from Rutgers University, New Brunswick and her Juris Doctor Degree from Albany Law School, Albany, NY. Monika's focus with the firm is the Federal Practice and Motion writing.

Lori Caughman, Esq,

 Senior Associate

Lori is a seasoned litigator with more than thirty years' experience trying cases. She is a graduate of  Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor Degree. She began her career as an Assistant Municipal Attorney for the City of Newark, New Jersey and has worked as a Deputy Public Defender for the State of New Jersey, Staff Counsel to Allstate Insurance Company, Assistant City Attorney for the City of Trenton, the Office of New Jersey Attorney General and in private practice. She is specifically trained in the representation of public entities.  Lori's focus area with the firm is state title 59 tort claims litigation, trials and depositions of expert witnesses.

Lori has served on a number of boards including the NJ District Ethics Board, the NJ Supreme Court Committee on Evidence and Criminal Practice and as an Executive Committee Member of the NJ State Conference of NAACP Branches.

  Lori is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Ed is a seasoned attorney and litigator having represented various clients in the public and private sectors and is fully familiar with New Jersey's Tort Claims Act and the immunities provided to public entities, civil rights and appellate practice areas. Ed has worked in big law and owned his own firm. 

He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Western New England College in Springfield, MA and his BA in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.

 When not " loving" the practice of law, Ed enjoys time with his family.
